Visit Us At Come Out With Pride 2021
October 7, 2021Pride Month And Year-Round, Our LGBTQ-Friendly Doctors Are Here For You!
November 1, 2021We may be your local Tampa STI clinic, but we are also so much more. Harmony Healthcare can connect you with multiple community resources that can have a positive impact on your life.
If you thought that the only thing an STI (sexually transmitted infection) clinic did was test for STIs, you haven’t experienced a visit to Harmony Healthcare. At our Tampa STI clinic and our locations in Kissimmee and Orlando, we provide high-quality medical care in a welcoming and inclusive environment. In addition to STI testing, we also connect our patients with the community resources they need.
We Can Connect You to Various Resources As A Tampa STI Clinic
Non-Medical Case Management
Our case management team will spend time with you, getting to know you and your specific needs. What kind of services can we help you access? Here are a few of them:
- Food assistance
- Public assistance
- Employment opportunities
- Financial assistance
- Mental health counseling referrals
Our team can work with you to develop a plan to identify and remove barriers to care. We can link you to services that you are eligible for, including Ryan White services.
Transportation Services
Your access to a Tampa STI clinic should not be limited because you do not have reliable transportation. Harmony Healthcare can connect qualified patients with transportation services to help them get to their appointments. We also have a new mobile unit, which allows us to bring our healthcare services to even more members of our community!
Telehealth Appointments
Transportation services aren’t the only way that we make healthcare easily accessible to our patients at our Orlando, Kissimmee, or Tampa STI clinics. We provide secure telehealth appointments so that you can meet with your medical provider using your smartphone or computer. With phone or video chat options, telehealth appointments keep us connected.
I’m a new patient, can I schedule a telehealth visit?
Depending on what you are seeing us for, even brand-new patients can use telehealth appointments. Some visit types will require an in-person appointment, such as:
- If you have been out of care for HIV for some time and will need to re-establish care and have lab work done.
- If you want to start on PrEP, and have never been tested or have not been tested in the last 90 days.
- If you need PEP and have never been tested.
If you are a new patient and would like a telehealth appointment for your initial visit, you may be able to schedule one if one or more of the following apply to you:
- If you are seeking HIV management or PrEP and have had lab work done in the last 90 days. We would need your lab work before your appointment, and since your labs are recent, your provider could continue care using that information.
- If you have had lab work done in the last six months or up to one year for Hepatitis C.
Language Interpretation Services
At our Tampa STI clinic and at our other locations, we have access to phone or video interpretation services in over 200 languages. This allows our patients to receive communication about their medical care in their native language.
