What is Hepatitis C Treatment?
Today’s treatments for Hepatitis C are well tolerated daily oral therapy that you take for a prescribed number of weeks. Once you have completed your treatment, blood work is ordered by the provider to check Sustained Viral Response (SVR) after 12 weeks.

What insurance plans does your office accept?
All services are provided by our office regardless of ability to pay or insurance status.
How is HIV transmitted?
HIV is spread by contact with certain bodily fluids (including blood, semen, breast milk, vaginal and anal fluids) during unprotected sex or through sharing injection drug equipment. There is also a risk of transmission through contact with open wounds and/or broken skin, receiving blood transfusions with contaminated blood, and accidental needlestick with a contaminated needle (cited source: www.cdc.gov).
What is the difference between HIV versus AIDS?
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the cells in your immune system and can lead to AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome), if left untreated. AIDS is the late stage of HIV infection that occurs when the body’s immune system is badly damaged because of the virus (cited source: www.hiv.gov).

What is PrEP?
Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is an oral medication taken daily by people who do not have HIV to prevent contracting HIV from sex or injection drug use. PrEP is available for all individuals regardless of gender or sexual preference and is highly effective when taken as prescribed. Contact our office today for more information!
Where can I get free condoms?
We provide free condoms in our office as well as condom education. We can also provide you with additional local resources for free condoms if needed!
